What players say

At the table

Firsthand play is thin here: three reports across two threads, mostly on AD&D 2e, plus one Fate-based campaign. Treat this as a small sample.

Which system to choose for a Planescape campaign?

The thread is mostly about which other system to use for Planescape, so nearly all comments are recommendations from people who haven't played it. The only play reports are the OP's long-running 2e campaign, which loves the setting but is unsatisfied with the rules, and a commenter whose friend ran a well-liked Planescape campaign in Spirit of the Century (Fate). 2 firsthand · 37 comments

Tabletop RPG that would bring the feeling of Planescape Torment

Only one commenter describes actually playing Planescape. They ran a 90s campaign on AD&D 2e with Skills & Powers and the splatbooks, and said it worked great. The rest of the thread is advice and opinion: use 2e, read the setting books, or try other games such as Invisible Sun, Numenera, Sig and Black Void. 1 firsthand · 61 comments
