The words people actually say come first, one new thing per card, each one back right before you'd forget it, with audio at full natural speed. With a deck built on the same one-new-thing-per-card rule, I learned more than 1,000 Japanese words and most basic grammar in about 20 tracked hours.
Each one took many rounds of design, testing and rework.

A tool · for my own table
A sound board for running Delta Green. Turn one knob from investigation to combat and the music, static and radio chatter follow, with stings for every reveal. Built for my group, along with a 37-page print kit for the scenario we're playing.
A 3D build · our home
A walkable model of the room we're adding to the family terrace: the glass wall, the daybed, the game table, real sunlight. I render each version, walk through it, and change it before the builders have to.

Snap bricks, beams, wheels and gears into a machine, press Run, and see if it climbs the wall, crosses the bridge or smashes the tower. Real physics, so joints tear loose. Started September 23; the web version hit 1.0 on October 2.

Letter-size RPG PDFs are unreadable on an e-reader. This lays them out again, page by page, at the Paperwhite's exact screen size in the book's own fonts, paper and art. 36 pages became 157 that never need a zoom.
A web tool · free
Pick a PDF, a size (A5 or A4) and how you'll bind it, stapled or spiral, and it lays the pages out on A3 in the order that binding needs, with cutting lines and a short guide to putting it together. Stapled sheets are cut a little narrower toward the middle so the finished edge comes out even, the way I build the RPG books I print. It shows the finished book page by page, so you can check the covers, the pictures that run across two pages and the size before you print; a long stapled book may come out as several booklets. It runs in the browser, so the file never leaves your device.
